Textile Excellence, Exclusive Fashion and Refined Accessories

A company with great ideals that today embarks on a path of innovation and transformation, must always start from tradition, which does not mean settling into the past, but rather sinking its roots in depth to grow as much as possible.

For centuries our family has traveled to every corner of the globe in search of the finest and most precious fibers. We explored the vast Australian plains to find the best Merino wools, Inner Mongolia and South and North America, selecting noble fibers such as Cashmere, Vicuña, Alpaca, Mohair, Silk and Qiviuk.

Our production process is tailored to your needs,
ensuring a high-quality finished product from initial concept to final delivery

This is the essence of Lanificio F.lli Cerruti 1881: a commitment to creating exceptional fabrics that blend the best of the past with the possibilities of the future. From the meticulous selection of premium materials to the harmonious integration of advanced technology and time-honored craftsmanship, every step of our production process is dedicated to delivering fabrics that exceed expectations.

Rooted in the rich textile tradition of Biella, Italy, the Cerruti family has been crafting fine fabrics since the late 18th century. In 1881, they established the Lanificio, where they forged a unique bond between tradition and innovation. Under the visionary leadership of Silvio Cerruti in the 1940s, the company embarked on a pioneering journey of international expansion, reaching the Americas and the Middle East. Symbolized by the caravella (caravel) in their logo, this journey represented the Lanificio's unwavering commitment to bringing beauty to the world.

When Nino Cerruti took the helm in the 1950s, he revolutionized the fashion industry. His groundbreaking approach to menswear, characterized by a deconstructed yet elegant style, elevated the importance of exceptional fabrics to new heights. Today, as then, Lanificio F.lli Cerruti 1881 continues to set the standard for luxury textiles, inspiring designers and discerning customers worldwide.
